F.A.Q.s

Got a question that needs an answer? Contact me!

  1. Can I pick up an order locally?

    • Yes! The easiest way is to pick up from me at one of the events I’m scheduled to be at, or by appointment at the studio.

  2. What's "sodium hydroxide", and why is it listed in the soap ingredients?

    • Sodium hydroxide, or lye, is used to convert the oils and butters (fats) into soap and glycerin. The lye gets used up in the soap making process, so there’s none left in your bar of soap, but we can’t make the soap without it.

  3. Why don’t you make sunscreen/bug repellent/products with CBD? Other people do.

    • The short answer to all those is that it’s not something that I can make and other people who aren’t in licensed and regulated facilities with the ability to have proper testing done shouldn’t be either because it’s not responsible. See this post for additional information.
